Funky room setup, clean and comfortable rooms.

Great location in Main Street Bahnhofstrasse for all shops and 20 mins to the lake and old town and 2 mins from train station. Value for money.

I gave 4 stars because there was no air conditioner instead an electric fan that only allowed us to press to #2. 3 was not working. Also, we could hear the cars, sirens, helicopter & tram. We were at the 4th floor & had a nice view, but when we opened the windows to feel cool, the noise was even louder. The next night was the same, hence I had to take Benadryl and put the earplugs they provided, which helped. Otherwise, the hotel was strategically located, within the old town, where there are lots of restaurants, it iswell maintained, very clean, and the receptionists were professional, helpful, attentive, and friendly. It is a few steps away from the bus and train station.

Close to transport, shopping and eateries. Convenient location and lovely breakfast. Room is acceptable size but a bit challenging to open 2 suitcases at one time. Room has fridge, safe, kettle and great coffee machine. The main down side is the very low tech air conditioner that hardly cools the room. Summer is not fully upon us but the room feels like at least 30C the whole time even though the air conditioning is on full blast.
