「Very clean room, and the entire property. We saw people constantly cleaning communal areas. Everyone was super pleasant. Room was perfect for the one night we spent there. Great security visible. Would stay again for sure.」

「Great historic property and central to everything in Placervile. Old building, so heat/cooling is tricky, and with hard wood floors, it was a little chilly but extra blankets provided. Squeeky floors, loud door and old windows with lots of street noise, but all to be expected. Well equipped and fun to stay at such an old hotel with so much history. 」

I've always enjoyed staying here in the past because of the friendly staff, cleanliness, etc. Now under new ownership and management, the place is being completely renovated and updated to a new level of loveliness. 「The desk clerk was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The bed was comfortable. There was some highway noise but that can't be helped. It faded as the night went on. Everything was clean, no funky smells. Big thumbs up from me.」

「The checking was easy. I had prepaid for the stay. Miki was very helpful with my special needs accommodations. 1st floor, service animal. She was very nice and i enjoyed speaking with her. For me, simple is perfect. I needed very little. My room was efficient and was all i needed. The room was clean and bright. Nice bathroom and shower. Good water pressure and plenty of Hot water. My queen bed was comfortable. The sheets and pillow cases were clean and fresh. There was enough for space...
