"This was a great house for our family of 6. It is the entire house, 3 floors, with 4 bedrooms on top floor. Main floor has a combined kitchen/dining room/family room and a separate area with Tamami mats/tea room, and basement has a TV room and a pool table room. House is very nice, very clean, and just 2 minutes from Fushimi Inari Shrine. 2 train stops away from main Kyoto station. Good internet, fast. Any concerns were minor: tricky to adjust water temperature, difficult to figure out...

"There were some stains on the bed skirt (looked like lipstick) and some dust between the sheets. But overall very clean. Front desk was availabile 24hrs and were very helpful and resourceful. Very nice and big room."

There are no instructions for TV or any gadgets in English and, as this is a love hotel, you're wary of touching anything for fear of what you may be buying! There was also a vending machine in the room with no explanation as to the contents. The hotel needs to decide who they want to cater for and set up accordingly. "We stayed out of necessity... the whole of Kyoto was fully booked. This really is a 'love hotel' rooms can be booked by the hour and come with A LOT of 'extras'! The staff don't have a lot of English but they tried really hard. It's about fifteen minutes walk to the nearest train station but only 5 minutes into Kyoto main station once on the train. "
