"This traditional Japanese Inn is thoroughly modern with excellent facilities, rooms, Michelin quality food, and helpful staff. We want to call out ‘Mikki’ who was super kind and helped us with any language barriers we had. The entire restaurant staff was amazing and we are grateful to meet the chef. The onsens were also wonderful. A room here with breakfast and dinner included is an excellent value."

"Rooms were clean, hotel staff very helpful. Rooms however are very dated abd need upgrading. Simple things in bathrooms like new tap fittings will make a huge difference. Also the smallest beds and pillows ever seen un a 4-5 star hotel. And why only one pillow per person??? Location very good and convenient to train and many local shops. Breakfast buffet quite basic and nothing special in range of food especially for westerners. "
