"Historic building with the charm of art museum and in-house gym and sauna for guest use. Improvements needed in guest relations friendliness and room amenities such as extra towels and folding luggage racks which seemed to be in short supply."

"The location and staff were fantastic. I feel the nightly price was way too high for the very basic amenities and not extremely clean room. There is a $14.99 daily fee that they don’t tell you about unless you scan the QR code that is behind the keys in the envelope they give you at check in. It explains that the fee covers bottled water, coffee service, pool, as well as some discounts at area businesses. But, our room had no waters, the pool looked nice but it’s off season, the coffee is available in the lobby but they don’t tell out that. I did ask about it, especially no water in the room and they waived the fee. But it’s something to be mindful of. Additionally, the AC is on some kind of timer, we lowered it so the room would be cool when we got back from being out, I woke up in the middle of the night sweating to the setting being at 85*. I lowered it again to 68* and when we woke up in the morning it was at 75*. When I first learned of unscripted, I was excited, seemed like a very cool spot, with kitschy vibes but they missed the mark or dropped their standards since opening. "

"Our three night stay was perfect! On Friday morning, I ordered a sweet potato hash for breakfast that was absolutely delicious! The breakfast bar on the weekend was great as well! The staff (front desk, restaurant, valet, and housekeeping) was excellent! "

"Our room was very clean, comfortable, and extremely well equipped! We were able to cook meals, relax, and enjoy the surrounding area with ease. The Landing personnel were very communicative, helpful, and proactive."

"Disappointing Stay -- Poorly Maintained Property. Our stay at this townhouse was disappointing. There is nothing "lux" about this property and it is poorly maintained. Several appliances and pieces of furniture were broken when we checked in (and not fixed during our 4-week stay) which signifiantly impacted the quality of our experience. Most notably, the oven did not work and one of the showers had a broken faucet and drainage issues which was unpleasant and inconvenient. These are essential items that should be in working order for guests (for example, the dresser in the master bedroom is broken so we had to leave our clothes in suitcases for a month). We contacted the host multiple times during our stay to request repairs yet the repairs were not addressed. Future guests should be aware that maintenance issues may not be resolved during their stay. "
