"Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean. If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night."

"Excellent location and amenities. The onsen is like a playground to explore with lots of variety. View from the room is Amano Hashidate itself. Can’t go wrong with the footspa - also with a view - and there’s even a lounge with coffee machine at the souvenir shop."
