「Old but good for the price 」

「While there were a few surprises in the location of the property - the beach is much rockier and not as accessible as in the pictures - the hospitality and friendliness of the staff made up for it. Hassan our driver was incredibly helpful and Shakira our host was amazing. Angel in the kitchen presented a wonderful breakfast each morning and made a great Gin & Tonic (for medicinal purposes only). The pool is wonderful and pool perfect.」

「I am writing this cautionary review to inform potential guests about my deeply disappointing and misleading experience at this property. It is imperative for prospective customers to exercise extreme caution before making a reservation at Asante Sana Beach Cottages, the hotel's isolated location makes it unsuitable for families. Owner is only money Orientated and not customer focused. The property's advertisement on Expedia does not accurately represent the reality of the hotel. Upon arrival,...

「We had a fantastic stay at Afrikano Baobab Treehouse with Asante Sana Beach Cottages in Zanzibar. The Treehouse is beautiful property with best rooftop oceanview. The staff were very friendly and were always putting the guests needs ahead of everything. They helped me to arrange a Dhow Sail Sunset Tour for Us. Definitely, we enjoyed privacy, food, and overall family atmosphere.」

「Incredible location, resort, staff and food. I stayed here for 10 nights and it was perfect. The rooms are spacious with a tasteful interior equipped with air conditioning. The villas are situated in a garden with paths, overlooking the ocean on a small cliff. The staff is attentive and eager to provide excellent service. As a solo female traveler I felt very comfortable, safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend!!」

「Lovely room and the view was phenomenal. Check in says till 11pm but make sure you let them know in advance (we had) but it was clear they were due to go home when we arrived after 10. Food at restaurant was great, and staff very helpful. We dived with the sister hotel and had a great experience. We contacted them ourselves as hotel suggested getting shuttle bus to book but they were responsive via WhatsApp and this was easier.」

「Stunning. Beautiful location and attentive staff. Highly recommended.
