"Spent NYE at the Grand. Our room was on the 15th floor overlooking the Frist Art Museum. It was clean and sexy and the view was amazing. Super comfortable King Sized Bed and very clean. Bellhop service was impeccable- and Valet was fast and friendly. Hotel was decorated for Christmas and NYE. Lobby Bar was nice, however closed early on NYE- we felt like it should have been open until at least 2. We were close to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park which is where we celebrated NYE and had an amazing time. The hotel Rooftop restaurant had an event for NYE but the cost seemed too high ($275 pp) with only a 20% discount for hotel guests. We ordered Room service for breakfast on NY day and the food was not as good as we had hoped. Bacon was hard and inedible and eggs were cold. We would skip that the next trip and eat at one of the local restaurants. Hotel is walking distance to Broadway and to the Gulch. Looking forward to staying here again."
