"The Abbaye is in a particularly beautiful location next to the lake. The hotel is very high-quality with excellent dining, and there are other good, if expensive, restaurants in the village."

"Positioned just below the château with stunning views over Annecy. Less than 5 minutes walk to Lake Annecy Steep walk up to hotel if on foot but car parking available. Felt very authentic and homely with the family cat and dog wondering around. Kettle in room but no coffee or milk available and the hot water in shower was a bit temperamental. "

"The hotel and its surroundings are very beautiful. Great customer service. The main building is stunning. We stayed in an annex which wasn’t as nice and the carpet was stained, nevertheless the room was very comfortable and large. Bed is very comfortable. They offer a bottle of water and tea in the bedroom which is a nice touch. Bathroom was nice too with L’ Occitane toiletries. Unfortunately we left early and didn’t have the opportunity to have breakfast which was included. We recommend this...

"Very nice staff at reception, the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom is quite small but the shower quality was excellent. Located very centrally and with lots of underground parking nearby. "

"First the reception was bold as if we were a burden, secondly the room needs a great deal of renovation and the shower stall was extremely rusted and not very clean. Overall don't know how the other rooms were but room 2 first floor should be condemned."
