「We had a wonderful few days despite mixed weather. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy yet spacious with lovely bright bedrooms upstairs, the owners were kind and helpful and the location is lovely, great walks along the river and lovely open outlook. We hope to return soon!」

It was so relaxing and sitting on the patio listening to and watching the various birds was so therapeutic. The epitome of mindfulness. I even heard my first Cuckoo that wasn't on the telly!The cottage itself was exactly as described by Anthony and Carrie. Everything was there that I needed. Well laid out accommodation and the bed was so comfy. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway...

「Es war einfach nur Traumhaft!!!! Die Vermieter absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wer weg vom Stress will und eine erstklassige saubere Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig!!! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen:) P.S.: da es bei unserer gebuchten Cottage Probleme mit dem Wasser gab, haben wir einfach eine größere ohne Aufpreis bekommen ☺️」

「A good start for a recent refurbishment. No doubt seating for the sun room and outside furniture will be available in due course which will certainly enhance the property. Garden furniture would improve residents stay given the beautiful surroundings. Lack of storage upstairs and sufficient seating and crockery we feel is not adequate for 8 people. We felt it was a lovely property more suited to perhaps 6 people than 8. We had a lovely stay.」

「Been here now for 6 years over Christmas and new year. We love the peace and quiet and access to lovely walks with the dog. The house is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and is equipped with everything you need. Although remote, Ellon is only 10 mins drive and Aberdeen just 30 mins so perfect if you want to get out. Highly recommended」

「Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too.」
