"The staff were really friendly and helpful We always had a chat - not sure if that’s because we were the only Brits in Algiers and so might have been novelty value - but nevertheless they were brilliant. The location is excellent - right by the metro station However - be aware it is opposite a beautiful mosque - and so you will get the early call to prayers - and it is loud. ALSO - very positive - a taxi driver who does some work for them and lives virtually next door “Youcef Sabour”...

"Très belle découverte. L'hôtel est neuf, moderne et très propre. Les chambres sont confortables et tout semble encore flambant neuf, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Le point fort pour moi reste le personnel, toujours souriant, serviable et aux petits soins. On se sent rapidement le bienvenu et ça fait toute la différence. J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé l'emplacement. "No shower head just hose, tiles around the bathtub missing, towels dirty. Missing remit for ac, king size bed was put together with two single beds and covered by a mattress, light fixtures missing plugs. Wi-Fi is not working, found bugs in the room. The most ridiculous rule is you have to prove you are married to your spouse, and if you show them a foreign marriage certificate they will not accept it. You will have to rent two rooms if you want to stay with your wife in the same place. Never...

"Decent hotel in a nice part of Algiers, plenty of character. The beds were very comfortable and the place was beautifully furnished, with lots of marble. The breakfast was adequate and tasty (excellent coffee!). The only slight weaknesses were on cleanliness (we had to ask them to replace the bath mat) and some items not being well-maintained, eg the phone didn't work and the shower head was leaking. Would return."
