「Breakfast was good, but we were rushed out as they had booked others at 9am when we started at 8am. We were made to move and finish our breakfast in the communal lounge area. It was a good spread with lots of different sauce stations and stuff, but no fresh fruit. Wouldn’t say this is worth 30 pound. Our room had peanuts and crumbs on the floor. The owner upsold us on “a much better room” on arrival which was bigger but had no AC, was very hot and we were not given access to the hot tub...

「The room was a bit on the small size for a double bed. With no TV other than one in the guests main lounge, which was shared by whoever was there at the time. The breakfast was good and the staff was polite and friendly .」

「Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.」
