Fort Chambly National Historic Site

There was no staff. If there was a problem there was no one to cintact.

We loved staying at the Luxury in Transit property so much that we extended our stay by a few more days. The apartment was very clean and well furnished—it even had a first aid kit! The bathroom had dual sinks and nice finishes. The shower had a rainfall and spray wand which was great. Also, the location was PERFECT! It is right in the heart of the historic district of Montreal and close to everything. The kitchen was high-end and had everything we needed and more. Finally, we appreciated the snacks, coffee, tea, and water in the apartment.

You really can't beat the location, but that was about the only highlight. The elevators were dirty, the hallways had a heavy, unpleasant odor, and the building as a whole feels old and neglected. The room itself was not clean, and finding stray hairs on the bed was a definite red flag that forced us to clean up before sleeping. While we expected the self check-out process, we hoped for a much higher standard of cleanliness. It was barely okay for just one night.
