The best ocean front property available.

This was the best ocean front property we could find when searching. And it did not let us down! Spectacular ocean view right off the porch! The jacuzzi’s and view together was out of this world. The interior of the house was spotless and everything we needed was there. Quiet and very private. We even seen whales migrating with the telescope available. I can’t say enough. The bed was comfortable and with the windows open the ocean waves were the perfect volume for a very very good sleep! We can’t say enough. We will be back!

Our Third Time staying here

This offers everything you need. The kitchen has all that you may need. It is very peaceful. You fall asleep listening to the Ocean. There is a hot tub available. We have never used it. The only prob.em we hac was using the code to open the door. I suggest they install a new one that wor,ks better.

Very nice property

The only criticism is the size of the shower. It's very small, maybe 32" x 32" or 36" x 36". Didn't bother me, but my wife had difficulty.

Beautiful views but needs maintenance

The views are beautiful and the location is very quiet and private. However, the home is not being maintained and updated in accordance with the prices being charged per night. The listing doesn’t tell you the two stairways down to the beach are both broken and taped off with caution tape. Also doesn’t tell you the only bedroom provided is one of three and has a window right next to the trash cans.

Beautiful Ocean View

My husband & I spent a decadent 10 days which included New Years. It stormed and rained the majority of the time. This house overlooks the ocean. It was hypnotizing watching the ocean waves during the storms and rain. We did lose power a few times but briefly. The gas fireplace kept us warm and toasty. The kitchen table worked out perfect for my jigsaw puzzle.

Fantastic Views

Home was very clean. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans/plates/glasses/utensils. Fantastic views! Hot tub was excellent! Front yard garden was beautiful! Previous reviews are correct, the mattress is on the soft side, however I don't think it's old, I think it's just a soft mattress. Bring your own pillows. Shower is small, shower head is too big for the small shower and therefore sprays against the opposite wall and not down on your head. It's a hand held shower head and you have to hold it to shower.

Oceanfront views - a must stay home in Fort Bragg/Mendocino!

This home is an absolute treasure. This home is the ideal rental for anyone looking for a relaxing, low key getaway to the Fort Bragg/Mendocino area. The directions for finding the property could be a little better (Google maps was relaible until we got to the street of the property) but that is our only gripe - just head down the street until you can drive no further and you're there. The kitchen was well appointed, the home was warm and the jacuzzi overlooking the ocean is exactly as perfect as the pictures show. We would love to come back and stay at this gorgeous property!

Loved our stay!

We loved our stay at the Tideaway, waking up every morning to the waves and ocean right outside the widows was amazing. At night we used the hot tub and when it was clear we star gazed. The property itself is beautiful and has steps that lead down to the tide pools. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Enjoyed our stay. Property is very private. Views are great. House had everything we needed. The fog stayed away long enough to enjoy the sea. It was nice to get away considering all that has changed since March. Will definitely consider the property again.

Had a great time, presentation of accommodations was a bit different than listing.

Great place for laying back. Secluded, great ammenities, kitchen well stocked. Had some problem with dirty dishes when we went to use them and photos of view from bedroom were from a bedroom that was locked and no access. Two of the rooms that have spectacular viewing windows were locked and our room was a view through a very small window with the garbage bin in the foreground of the view, but views from living room are spectacular. The two coves you can go too are awesome to go down to during low tide to view tide pools and is totally private, as the landowner owns those two coves. Hot tub is nice, but jets are weak and some don't work. Too many can't do this and can't do that posted around the house and you are asked not to use the washer and dryer and we stayed there five days and only had placed out two towels. Loved the stay though and the price reflects some of the drawbacks, but would recommend for those who want to have a romantic secluded getaway and aren't picky people. Rather dangerous for young children with the two steep covers on each side. If you take young children, keep a very close eye on them, we kept a close eye on our granddaughter and she love the sunsets and the tide pools. Lots to do around Ft. Bragg and easy access from this home. Highly suggest a visit to the Botanical Gardens at the end of the entry to the road to the property. It is a large piece of property and nice natural flora has been used in the landscaping, extra treat.
