「Pleasantly surprised to have found this great hotel in Strathroy as a last minute weekend accommodation over the labor day weekend! Conveniently located near Grand Bend and surrounding areas. Great , family friendly hotel. Complimentary brealfast had a variety of options - eggs, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and the usual bread/bagel/jam/butter. 「I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. I liked the convenience of the open clothes rack and the room set up. I liked the size of the vanity and its position outside the bathroom. Perfect for getting ready in the morning. The fridge was more than the usual small room fridge. It was a very comfortable stay. 」

「We had an amazing time at the Colonial hotel. The staff was phenomenal. Everyone seemed really welcoming and also happy to be working there. The amenities are incredible - we loved the pool and all the outdoor seating, and the fire pits, and the unique drinks, and great, reasonably priced food menu. The decor is awesome.
