"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...

"This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! Staff we very helpful and welcoming!"

"We were a group of 7 and rented all 4 rooms in the building. We loved the private, remote location and the outdoor areas - such as the covered seating area next to the grill and games on the lawn! The pool is huge and especially deep! Claudia takes great care of it (we could not find the special sun tan cream that she recommended - for some reason our normal sun tan lotions caused white swimming costumes to go yellow in places). "Franca's little house was absolutely charming and very well cared for. It was super clean and had all the touches of home, including flowers in vases, pretty pictures and ornaments and great storage space upstairs. "The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"Our time in Tuscany was absolutely wonderful, Franco was such a great host, he had a snack and a beverage waiting for us and it was a pleasure to visit with him. "The apartment is brilliantly located just outside the city walls, but within a very short walk to the nearest gate into Lucca. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Communication with Renata was fantastic. She was very helpful before we arrived and met us at the apartment - so warm and friendly :) She was on hand with questions during our stay, and her daughter kindly helped us with taxis. I would highly recommend the apartment and we will come back."
