The house was the perfect size for our group. It was bigger than I had imagined. The furniture in the living room was newer and some still with the tags hanging off.
Very comfortable with seats that recline on the ends.
The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils, cookie sheets, drinking glasses, and other supplies.
My only suggestions:
1. All mattress pads need to be replaced and most of the pillows.
2. Bigger skillets for the kitchen. We had to use a small skillet to cook only 6 scrambled eggs at a time which was a challenge for a larger group.
3. Some more mixing bowls would be nice too.
The island was awesome with great local restaurants, shops, and other things to do. Some of our favorites were Rita's (great smoked wings), The Lost Dog Cafe (great breakfast and coffee), Taco Boy (great tacos), and Center Street Coffee (they had a list of favorite drinks which you can change up if you wish). One of our favorite restaurants was just over the bridge from the island at Bowen's Island Restaurant. Fresh seafood, great drinks, and service was fast and very friendly. We will be back!!
