We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay again. We also liked Rod the cat, and his buddies that kept us company out back. The house is conveniently located near NAS, Corry Station, the beautiful beaches and Foley, AL."

"This lodge is a hidden gem. The property is beautiful, clean and the staff is very polite. The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent and so was the service. If you’re looking for a quiet get away this is the place. I’m not sure if they allow it but this would be an excellent wedding venue. "

"It was a pleasant experience. I happened to be staying there when hurricane Sally hit. My room stayed fine. However, the lobby was damaged by the winds and rain, lost power and water. The staff and manager on hand were excellent. They didn’t act frazzled or anxious. They took care of matters and us guests. I really enjoyed the history of the hotel, too. "
