「Place looks pretty rough from the outside, but the room was clean and felt fresh and inviting inside. View of the lake is minimal - it's pretty far away and across the highway, but still nice. The girl who checked me in was cute, friendly and helpful. There are NO amenities, lol. 」

「Very old lodge with a lot of history. Rooms nicer than expected, renovated, clean, and surprisingly thick walls, couldn’t hear a neighbor. Comfortable bed, gorgeous views, very peaceful. The family is doing a very good job bringing this property back to life.」

We were denied early check-in unless we paid an extra fee but wouldn’t be told if we could check-in early until that same day. The automatic calendar event address took us to the wrong location and upon arriving we noticed a significant ant presence. The listing notes it can sleep 4 but the pullout bed is not sleep-able. 「Beautiful spot, if you’re new to camping or have kids/dogs this is the place. The location was secluded and definitely has that up north feel. Great for getting out in nature and close to other things to do outside.」

「Beautiful place our family and friends loved and the hospitality was like no other!! We had a barbecue on our first night and it was a awesome patio with a huge Blackstone that we grilled our steaks and Brats on they had everything we needed to feed our group!! They also had a bonfire pit that my husband was excited to light up it was so cozy!! Thanks Paul and Deb for everything we really enjoyed it and would recommend this beautiful getaway to everyone!!」
