「I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. 「We had a wonderful stay at Jon & Katie’s beautiful home. My family, ranging in age from 14-85 yo, stayed for four nights to attend my niece’s wedding. The home was spacious, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. With so many bedrooms we were easily able to spread out, and the varied living/gathering spaces made relaxation and hanging out fun. 「The San Diego family traveled to Arcata for my grandson's high school graduation. The house was generously sized for adults and younger grandchildren who made the trip. The location was quiet yet close to grocery shopping in Sunny Brae. The house was very clean and neat, bath towels fluffy, kitchen fully equipped. 「Loved the house. I wished there was covering for the door. It has a lot of glass and people can look right in the door. Some of the items are placed to high for some people to reach. For example the laundry soap and the coffee mugs. No iron or ironing board. The knob to change from tub to shower head was very difficult to turn. Otherwise everything was perfect.」
