「From the pictures and write up about this property I was expecting a very polished almost luxurious experience. However this was not the case. The room was not what I had booked and when I queried this I was given an explanation about pipes bursting and the original room was not available and that I should be happy that I was given an upgraded room. However the room was in need of some updating and there was a strange musty smell in the bathroom. The hotel also offers parking / storage of cars...

「We had a lovely stay. It is in a beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. The property was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated with nice furnishings . The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It is rural but the local Tollemache Inn has great food - you do need to book. Our stay ended with a nicely cooked breakfast. We will go back again for a longer stay.」
