"We stay here often when in town. With a full agenda we decided to see if we could check in early, mainly to get our key as we would be back late after reception closed. We arrived at 12.15 and were told we could check in early for a $50 fee. Or we could come back at 1.30 and check in early at no cost. We chose the latter and went for a coffee. We do understand that checking in early is at the hotels discretion, but obviously the room was available so the fee did seem excessive. Overall we love staying here when visiting family nearby. "

"The room and bathroom felt very fresh and updated. Comfortable bed, and good temperature in the room. Would have loved to have had time to use the spa tub in our room, but we never had the chance. It was great having a refrigerator, microwave and tea making supplies in the room. The only complaint is the shower water temperature. The showerhead itself had great pressure, but I constantly had to adjust the handle by millimeters to stop from getting scalded or getting cold. It didn’t hold a steady temperature. Aside from that, I would certainly stay here again. Quiet location, easy, free parking."

"One of the AC units had a red light and the external inverter was making a very loud noise. After doing a web search it was clear this unit was unsafe and had most likely not been serviced for a long time. After day one the a tap began to leak for several more days. The staff were great. The manager needs a maintenance schedule."
