「Excellent location just off the motorway. Bed was extremely comfortable with nice clean linen. Room was nice and warm on a cold November day. Did not use the restaurant this time」

「Hôtel propre et bien situé. Il manquait juste la clim dans la chambre en cette semaine de canicule. Heureusement qu'il y avait un ventilateur.」

「thank you for the drink! sorry for break the wine glass. 」

「The family Chateau is stylishly restored and we enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast in a lovely setting. The pool and hot tub were a very welcome end to a long day’s drive. The owners made us very welcome and we look forward to staying again.」

「What an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful location, calm peaceful with lovely gardens. A short drive from Alcenon which has a selection of excellent restaurants A first class continental breakfast provided by the fabulous hostess. A selection of beers and wines available for purchase. Great value for money highly recommend we will definitely be back.」

「Great price and a lovely and helpful proprietor. To the people giving this hotel a bad review: if you want luxury, pay for it. There are no stairs and it's a three story building - this is publicised, so why complain? It's only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The place is quirky and dated but that is it's charm. Highly recommend. Will be returning.」

「Great place to stay overnight .The restaurant was very good and the fixed price menus offered good value for money. I would stay again and recommend to others travelling through or staying in the area」

「A perfect location. Attention to detail in every way throughout our stay. Would recommend to anyone. Will certainly return to stay again」

The problem was it was poorly ventilated & very stuffy with no air con - a fan helped but it was still difficult to sleep. Not helped by being unable to turn off the bathroom light - I guess it used a motion sensor but it was a good 10 minutes before the light went off. Tended to disturb sleep after visiting the bathroom at night. Much the same with dinner. The langoustine starter was...

「Le personnel très accueillant, chaleureux et au service des clients ; en plus le traiteur était top :) Je le recommande」

「Was much better than I thought I was going to be giving the price. Lots of places to go right outside the doors. Staff were very helpful.」
