"We had a really fun time there. Host responded immediately and check in and out were very easy. House well stocked and very clean. Hot tub fun. Great yard with fenced in area for dogs. Just understand ahead of time that the bunk room downstairs is part of the tv area; the loft is open, and the 4th bedroom is the sunroom. Also be aware that the road to the house is steep and windy. Fine if you have four or front wheel drive. Overall a very fun, kid and dog friendly place."

"Value for the price was good. Rooms were clean with updated amenities. Check-in was not staffed and I hadn't received a room or key code to get into my room. Took some time for the owner to respond however the on-site person was very helpful and kind."

"We had an amazing stay at Bob’s River House close to Sunday River.From the moment we set foot into this beautifully newly constructed home close to Sunday River & Bethel we felt welcome. A cozy sitting area with gas fire, lots of pillows & blankets, a big modern well equipped kitchen, finally space for everyone to hang their jackets & put away their shoes (there’s even a heating rack behind that area so the shoes were always dry & warm), a well thought through light concept, a greatly functioning heating system (first time we actually always felt warm)…the list is endless! We especially appreciated all the attention to detail like the nice nature set decorations, the pre-installed phone chargers, the downstairs ski room area with boot heater, the hot tub with a view, the extra towels for the hot tub, the availability of a fully modern washing & drying machine and even heated toilet seats. Before we could even think of something more, it was already there. Thanks to the proximity of the river and the beautiful river trail our dog always got great hikes before we went skiing for the day. And she discovered the huge dog bed as her new favorite spot.We came with a Rivian car and we used the chargers at Sunday River base station. Perfect for charging while skiing! If there is anything to add to the house, it would be an EV charger.We will be back for sure. Thank you Bob, you were an amazing host."

"fabulous house! Gorgeous views. VERY accommodating (bathrooms, bedrooms) great area downstairs with a bar, tv, hangout area, shuffleboard. Hot tub which is wonderful especially after a day of skiing. The set up is so perfect, open kitchen and living area/dining space with a fireplace. 15 minutes to Sunday River mountain and a VERY easy 40 min drive to Black Mountain (we did a day of tubing and had a blast!) Only suggestions would be to be aware that it is set up on a mountain having to drive up a steep narrow road, so in bad weather it can be difficult to get to if you don’t have 4wheel drive. This is the first rental I didn’t have paper towels/toilet paper/ extra items like zip lock bags, tin foil, dish pods, laundry pods.(things like that) NO big deal but just a heads up. Also, there’s PLENTY of firewood but there was not any newspaper/kindling/fire-starter supplies. Would definitely book again and planning on it for next season. "

"Fabulous stay for a long weekend at Sunday River. The house is about a 20 minute drive from the slopes and a welcome return after a long day skiing. We loved the hot tub and cozying up by the fire. Very impressed by the extensive amenities and organization. And, comfy beds! "
