"First off I want to say the room size was fantastic! Really spacious, I loved the set up. It made it much more comfortable for our large family. The rooms were kind of outdated and the beds weren't great, also really creaky. Our shower was out of shampoo, but I had brought some along. overall our stay was good. Receptionist was super friendly. Breakfast was ok. "

Included breakfast is about what you’d expect from a hotel at this price - cereal, donuts, buffet-style scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles. The only real issue is trying to get to downtown IA city. Getting out of the parking lot involves either making a left turn (with no light) across a very busy 5-lane road, or doing some gymnastics to navigate through some neighboring parking lots to make a slightly easier left, then make...
