「Always enjoy staying here. Splendid room, spacious and comfortable. Building itself is historic. Breakfast was very good and worth having, not least for the magnificence of the surroundings. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. 」

The grounds in which the lodges are on are beautiful and secluded and really gives you the feeling of detachment from the working and home life for your stay.
Lodges very clean and more amenities than first thought, can easily get by with no problem at all or need for anything.
Nice seating area out front with fire pit & hanging BBQ if required. Even a bar area for you to meet other guests or book a couple of lodges and have a few of you there enjoying that...
"The staff were all very kind and friendly. I am Japanese and my English is not very good, but they treated me with great courtesy. The only thing that concerned me was that the shampoo was not replenished during my stay, though I believe it would have been resolved if I had simply asked."
