"I really dig this hotel. For the price I paid, I felt like I was getting way above the pricepoint. Plus Hector, the night customer rep, went above and beyond to take care of my buddy and myself. I love the harbor view when waking up and the rooms were very decent, with great pillows and thick towels! The tv worked, the heat worked well and wasn't obnoxiously loud (like many hotels can be)! I'll definitely stay here any chance I can when I'm back in Oakland."

"stayed for 2 nights in January. the staff at check in were great, seamless check in. First time staying at a hotel with our 1.5 yr old mini Labradoodle and it was more than we had hoped for, only $20/night extra to have our pet stay with us, other hotels nearby charged $150. Our room was on the first floor which made it easy to take our puppy outside for walks. Convenient location, close to the free way, lots of stores and restaurants nearby. My husband enjoyed the hot tub and the gym. They also had a bar at the lobby so we enjoyed drinks there as well. "

"We had a spacious corner room with a view. Hotel was charming, with a great bar. Location just off Shattuck is great for walking up to campus or exploring Berkeley. The MARTA station is right across the street, which would make access to SFO and San Francisco by public transportation easy. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast as well as the numerous restaurants and bookshops in walking distance."
