Clean, spacious room. Check-in was efficient. Courteous, well-groomed front desk staff who checked us in. Very nice lobby with beautiful Christmas decorations. I love the breakfast buffet. Courteous, attentive restaurant attendants. Ample parking. No unhoused people who come in with vouchers. Exterior environment look safe.

Parking was easily accessible and complimentary. The beds were not as comfortable as I was hoping. Mattresses were worn and you felt like you sunk into the bed. Overall the property was clean and the staff was friendly. Housekeeping was attentive and hospitable.

This hotel is very clean and nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room had nice amenities including 2 bottles of water and the chocolate chip cookies were such a nice touch!

Unexplained charges on our credit card

The rooms and public areas were well decorated and clean. My complaint is with the very confusing billing: Various charges appeared on our credit card during our 3-day stay with no explanation except for the words "Doubletree Hilton." When I asked at guest services desk, there was no explanation for the charges, and was told that when the computers reset overnight, the charges would be deleted. Finally, after our checkout, the charges did come off. But why did they appear in the first place? The unexplained charges were very disturbing and left us with a unpleasant feeling about our stay at Doubletree Hilton Pleasanton. I won't stay at that brand of hotel again.
