"First off-the staff is very lovely and friendly. We stayed 2 nights -the first night in room 6 we had an issue with the shower, it was scalding hot-when we advised staff in the morning, we were moved to room 30-our second room was fully renovated and everything worked just fine. "Much better than expected, very friendly staff (from the receptionist to cleaners to breakfast servers), clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast. Only slight downsides were a creaky door and thin ceilings, where we could sometimes hear other occupants, but it didn't stop a good night's sleep."
"Clean and comfortable. Decor appropriate for the house age. Room number provided by email. Bar staffed from 5pm although restaurant not available. Walking distance to the lovely and lively village. Visited Rogie Falls nearby - beautiful! Would stay again."
"This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but saying this everything is functional, and usable.
As I say, it’s a grant wee handy place to stay, and friendly staff!
