The town is so quaint and quiet, we absolutely loved it! The property is an old manner that is beautiful and must have been a beauty in its hay day. 「I pre-booked the hotel weeks before I traveled. The website said that the retreat house had restaurants, lounge, and bar amenities that I thought would be useful for my stay. The restaurant was not opened when we arrived. The bar//lounge had no staff. We asked the only employee we ever saw when the restaurant would be open and she said it’s only open for breakfast. We came downstairs in the morning at 8:30. The sign on the dining room said that breakfast was served at eight to ten. No one to be...

「Nice place however the hall ways needs a good clean. Smell of cigarette in the hall way stained carpets. Rooms are clean and well maintained」

「This was the nicest overall stay of our entire trip in Scotland. We planned it as a break between Skye and Speyside and it exceeded expectations. Robie made sure we were well fed and entertained at the bar. Thanks to all the other staff that checked on us during our stay. 」

「It is a great view! Easy to park just over the road. Plenty of breakfast items and fruit provided. It was a bit cold when we arrived but once the heating was on we warmed up. Bed comfy, big telly.」
