「Due to the nature of the retreat… there was no face-to-face contact w the staff but they responded promptly to text or call. Our cottage at Mitchell 2 had an excellent view of Mt Mitchell east side.」

「My wife and I stayed here for a week to volunteer at the Samaritan’s Purse rebuilding mission in the Burnsville area. The Inn was very enjoyable and is a wonderful old building. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and had a great shower, which we enjoyed after a long day of working on homes for families who were affected by Hurricane Helene.」

「Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. 」

「Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

「Perfect for a short stay. Close to the Blue Ridge and lots of hikes」

「My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were wonderful and so helpful. It is in walking distance to a great bbq restaurant. The other guests we met were friendly and we enjoyed talking to them.」

「This place was amazing! Very grateful that I found it. I ordinally booked for the unique building but the experiences are what made it so special. I will definitely go back again. The Zen Dome is a really fun design, built to be a special experience with details like crystals attached to the outside. It has all the comforts that I expected from a glamping experience, but it had a full camping (connecting to nature) experience that you do not normally get in glamping. Rather then being...

「The cabin and surrounding mountainside are so charming! We went for a short walk around the creek which was so much fun to explore. The perfect escape from city/suburban life」

「The cabin was great! The quaint cabin and extant wildlife paired with the full-service bathroom offered an accommodating, simple, and quiet home-base for a weekend get-away. I'm thankful to Amma for being such a gracious host and for making logistics and check-in painless.」

「We had the absolute best stay at this hideout! The property itself was super cozy, fun, and stocked with more than enough amenities to make our stay comfortable and effortless. The views outside were something else entirely—pictures really don't do them justice! On top of that, communication with the hosts was incredible from start to finish. Everything about this place was fantastic, and we can’t wait to come back!」

「Great off the grid stay! The cabin was stocked with more than enough supplies to make your stay easy and comfortable. Us and our dogs had an amazing time. 」

「What an amazing cabin, area and host! Very responsive and communicative. Property is close to town but private enough you feel surrounded by nature!」

「The cabin was wonderful and very clean! We especially enjoyed the hot tub!」
