「Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. 」

「Beautiful, comfortable and clean accommodations with a stunning view of the Douro River! Excellent pool overlooking the river and valley. The staff were all so friendly, kind and helpful. It was an absolute delight to stay here, I would highly recommend Quinta da Marka and hope I can make it back there someday! 」

I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...

「ピニャオン駅からタクシーで５分強。見渡す限りブドウ畑の山々をくねくね走り、石畳の道を下ると、ホテルがひっそりと佇んでいます。何となく家に帰り着いた様なほっこリした気分になります。 素敵なオーナーマダムが迎えてくれます。ホテルの庭の外れに大きな木があり、そこにはアルプスの少女ハイジが乗っている様なブランコが！！！ 空を舞っている様な気分になれます。 食事はマダムお勧めの川魚をチョイス。料理のボリュームも程ほどで、デザートを食べる余裕があり、こちらもマダムお勧めのプディン（とても濃厚でまったりした美味しさ）を頂く事ができました。 でも一番のお勧めは、こちらのキンタのワイン。ブランド名は＜DORNA VELHA＞です。 今回は１泊しか出来なかったけど、今度ポルトガルに行く機会があれば数日間ゆっくり滞在したいホテルでした。」

「O hotel fica na Quinta do Portal, uma casa de fazenda bem adaptada para hotel. O quarto e wc grande, varanda e bem decorada. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Um detalhe só, as estrada do restaurante para o hotel por 2 vezes ficou bloqueada por carros entregando mercadoria para o restaurante e tivemos que esperar a operação. O jantar menu degustação vale muito a pena」

「An excellent guest house/hotel, family run and beautiful breakfasts and dinners. The swimming pool was great and much appreciated in the heat. There is a local snack bar within 100 yards good for a small lunch」
