"Nice hotel near the waterline in Stonetown. Charming rooms with old fashioned furniture. The staff was very nice and helpful and the sunset bar is definitely worth a visit. However, the rooms are really noisy, especially on Friday when they hired a DJ to play till 2AM."

"I have been staying at the Harbour View Suites for many years, when I need to travel to Dar es Salaam. The staff is always incredibly gracious and helpful. Dar is a big and very busy city - and could feel a bit unsafe as a foreigner. However, this hotel occupies the 9th, 10th and 11th floors of a large building with ocean views. "Zawadi House provides personal services and the kindness of the staff is unmatched. The grounds are beautiful, with tea in the garden each evening being a relaxing highlight of our stay. Breakfast was wonderful. The location is close to Arusha city center and any other activities you have in mind. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend giving Zawadi House try when you visit the area."
