「We enjoyed our stay so much. We enjoyed playing on our own private beach. The water was so warm each day! Fishing was good on the James River as well. We loved how the house was at the end of the lane and surrounded by trees,. It gave us a very private feel. If you LOVE Bald eagles this is a place for you to stay. We can't wait to book our next stay!」

「We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river. Deena was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable and the check-in/out process was seamless. The cottage was well-appointed and the kitchen well-stocked and had everything we needed. 「We rented the house as lodging and a central location while family and friends came to town for a local funeral. The house fully suited our needs with plenty of rooms and space for everyone to be together or take time on their own. The view of the river is amazing and we enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit last night. Overall a great experience and we’re already talking about renting it again for a few days this summer.」

「The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner...

「This is the second year we have stayed here. Superb views over the James river. Quiet location. Very near Scotland Jamestown ferry. Free and one of the US best trips.There were only 3 of us so the house was spacious and we had a bathroom each. All the facilities you need , Good wifi and Tubi TV. Overall excellent」

「It was as expected. The TV in my bedroom didn’t work. I didn’t ask for assistance so that’s on me. It’s a nice piece of property and it’s very well kept and my kids enjoy it in the location is perfect for the theme parks. Guest services are very responsive.」
