「The staff were amazing and very welcoming, but unfortunately, the hotel itself is in need of some urgent renovations. The breakfast was also quite expensive. The location, however, is excellent. There is almost no traffic during the night, and the hotel offers breathtaking 360-degree views. It is only about a 10-minute drive from the city centre, while there are also plenty of free parking options nearby.」

「Ensure you check the checkin time. A bit of confusion here as once booked at 10pm got an email stating checkin closes at 9pm then an email at 1am stating that checkin was reopened for us.」

「The cows in the pasture next door and the sound of their bells made for an extraordinarily good stay. The view from our room was of forests, pastures and mountains. The location in a village on the side of the hill was charming. The hosts speak Engish well and their friendliness and hospitality outstanding. 」

「Ken is a great host, very communicative and has great insights on things in the area (grocery stores, restaurants, activities in Annecy and in surrounding towns, hikes, viewpoints...etc)! We had a lovely stay, the property has an incredible mountain view and if you're lucky the cows will be out back to greet you in the mornings. It is quiet, peaceful and clean. It is also very accessible to necessities such as grocery/convenience stores.」

「A really excellent house in a fantastic location. The accommodation was perfect for us and included everything we needed for our comfort. And provided us with an incredible view on all sides. It was great to explore Lake Annecy from Dossard which provided a relaxed base for us to plan our adventures. Our host gave really clear info, was on hand for anything we needed and the property was exactly as advertised 」

「Villa Eau Bleue was fantastic and our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The house is well-stocked, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. There was nothing we wanted for. The pool and gardens were a big hit with both grown-ups and kids - table tennis, trampoline, badminton net, hot tub... What's not to love.」
