「Thank you for such a lovely stay! Beautiful building and area. Very convenient if you are exploring Normandy. Staff was very kind but short staffed so things took a bit longer but not a big impact. Very clean and taken care of. We stayed in room 200 and it was incredible, such beautiful architecture. 」

Pas d'isolation entre la porte et le couloir, ce qui fait qu'on entend les gens parler, claquer leur porte et quand il y a un chien mal élevé comme ça a été notre cas on l'entend aboyé, un vrai régal. 「The Hotel Manoir de Mathan was really nice we had a ground floor room which was huge it had every thing you needed even a kettle, the furnishing was to a high level the owner was a lovely lady, really friendly and helpful, and suggested a very nice restaurant which didn't disappoint breakfast was very nice, we only had a continental breakfast, definitely go back 」

「Our quarters were great! Annemarie was truly a great host and made our stay exceptional. The room was clean and had a wonderful, cozy French charm that made us feel right at home. Annemarie went above and beyond—she was incredibly welcoming and even gave us a jar of homemade jam! We especially appreciated the delicious breakfast and the tranquil atmosphere of the property. They were great to have around to help my family and i with planning our route to hit all the spots relevant to the allied invasion of 1944.」

「Wir haben uns in der Wohnung wohlgefühlt. Mit einem Rollstuhl ist sie etwas eng, aber mit einem Rolllator kommt man gut zurecht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Strand und die Promenade sind sehr gut und in 5 Minuten erreichbar. 」

「Paul is an excellent host and speaks good English. The Gite is a lovely little cottage suitable for a couple. It does include some steep steps that will mean it is not suitable for every one. Its location makes it a good quiet base within easy reach of all the Normandy Beaches and Monuments. Anyone arriving on a Sunday should come with a supply of food because there is nowhere open locally on Sunday afternoon.」

「The home was spotless, equipped for us to eat 2 dinners during our stay. Sauna/steam room/master bath were terrific. Nice quiet location 10 minutes from Bayeux for Normandy sightseeing.」
