"I had found it difficult to work out exactly where it was and when we got there where reception was as there were two signs pointing in different directions. However the receptionist was very nice and carried my bag. The whole site is set out beautifully and I loved the garden. The room was good. We had lovely weather. It might be less agreeable in rain. "What a wonderful place to stay! I can't begin to express how welcoming and friendly he and his family were. They went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The history of the chateau is incredible and he's very knowledgeable about it and the region. The dinners and breakfasts are delicious home-made meals prepared with care. If you need help with lining up transportation to and from the chateau, be sure to be in contact with him well in advance. He helped us...

"Appartement correct bien situé mais sans aucune vue dégagée dommage. Par contre, au niveau vaisselle, il y a peu de couverts, pas de casseroles et le four est sale. Le lave vaisselle n'est pas très efficace. Il n'y a pas 6 chaises alors qu'on peut y dormir à 6. Pour un séjour d'un WE, c'est pas terrible. On s'est adapté."

"I think you would describe this hotel as rustic. Perfectly serviceable and comfortable enough, but somewhat run down. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was great."
