「The location was great. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good. The room (especially the bathroom) was quite rundown. The tiles around the shower were cracked but the room overall was a good size. We had a harbour view which was quite lovely. It was 1 $18.00 a day to park which seemed a little steep.」

「Great stay. Comfortable room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.」

「Beautiful dpaceous room」

「Great hotel and restaurant. Great location. Clean room. Excellent staff.」

「The hotel is central to most things in the city. It has a great view of the harbour and it is a short, picturesque walk up to Fort Howe and to Uptown via the Harbourfront Passage. It is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking and the pool/hot tub are also nice. The only things missing were places to hang wet towels and bathing suits in the room and a handheld wand in the shower for those of us used to bidets. Maybe the other rooms have them. I’m not sure.」

「Nice and clean Brian at the front desk very pleasant to deal with. We will be back.」

「Wonderful morning hot meals and friendly hotel staff.」

「The apartment was beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. The living area and bed was comfortable, the additional bedroom also looked comfortable. The kitchen was adequate for cooking and very handy since there really aren't many places to eat. The improvement that would make this apartment top notch is the master shower is very small and the water pressure is very low therefore it would take forever to fill and make use of the jacuzzi tub. We were there at the end of the season and the...

「Would not recommend at all. It was a dump. We ended up getting our money back and not staying there.」

「It was comfortable lodging here. However, I was very disappointed at the lack of openness to early check in.」

「Extremely clean room, comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower. Can't ask for more! Would definitely stay again and would recommend」

「The historical property was fascinating. The owners prepared a spectacular breakfast. The location was very good with views of the city. Plenty of parking. Bed was comfortable.」

「Do not book this for many reasons. First the post doesn’t clarify that the bathroom is in another building that can be shared with up to 10 other people. Secondly, there is some safety issues since windows are not big enough to get out in case of fire and no smoke alarm like described and all the electrical including the chaufrette plugged in extension system which is a definite fire hazard + no soundproofing the windchimes can be heard all night and apes from the tree fall on you when near the...

「Great spot- small business altenative to a hogh priced hotel. Very helpful staff.」

「This is a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. Communication is quick and timely. The location is great for wandering into town to bars, restaurants and the waterfront. Short covered walk to the market for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommended this place for a short stay in the Port City.」

「The room was beautifully appointed in the heritage style. It featured a full kitchen and an air tub in the bathroom. There were towels folded into bird and fan shapes. The property has complimentary laundry on each floor and is conveniently located near the waterfront. There is a parkade across the street.」
