「Beautiful ocean view from the room. Room was clean, but had obviously received few updates and minimal maintenance since about 1965. The price was very reasonable so I cant complain - but the shower water pressure was very pathetic, the glasses and mugs in the room completely mismatched and likely supplied from a thrift store. With a few updates and maintenance this would be a 5 star stay.」

「Great hotel and restaurant. Great location. Clean room. Excellent staff.」

「Wonderful morning hot meals and friendly hotel staff.」

「It was comfortable lodging here. However, I was very disappointed at the lack of openness to early check in.」

「The Regent is an excellent budget-friendly old fashioned motel— each individual room is on the ground floor and has a parking space in front. It is clean and has everything you need — a comfortable bed, a TV, free internet, a tub/shower, a refrigerator and a microwave. The furnishings are basic and the bathroom is small, but the cost was at least $100.00 less than the other, more modern chain motels for the night we stayed.」

「Would not recommend at all. It was a dump. We ended up getting our money back and not staying there.」

「This is a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. Communication is quick and timely. The location is great for wandering into town to bars, restaurants and the waterfront. Short covered walk to the market for coffee and breakfast. Highly recommended this place for a short stay in the Port City.」

「The room was beautifully appointed in the heritage style. It featured a full kitchen and an air tub in the bathroom. There were towels folded into bird and fan shapes. The property has complimentary laundry on each floor and is conveniently located near the waterfront. There is a parkade across the street.」
