「We received no notifications about how to check in. I panicked and called VRBO several times. I was finally able to call the resort directly and confirm the reservation. The unit hasn't been renovated in a while and the carpeting needs to be replaced. All the uncertainty made for a stressful weekend.」

「The house was amazing! They even had an extra fan for those of us who need one to sleep, which was such a thoughtful touch. The water access was great and perfect for fishing. While there are neighboring houses nearby, the area was very quiet and still felt private and relaxing. The hot tub was wonderful to unwind in — warm, clean, and ready to use when we arrived. The house itself was spotless and very well kept. The location was also great, just a few miles from Ingles, shopping, and...

「We loved the location of this property, private feeling and with trees all around. The smells and sounds of summer and nature were very relaxing. We loved the outdoor space and the windows which afforded a lovely view no matter where you looked. It was a like a tree house get away. There are stairs to get to the front door and stairs to get down to the 2nd bathroom and beds on the “basement” level. The downstairs can only be accessed from the outside and is completely separate from the main...

「Absoloutely top tier chateau. Breathtaking. The sunrise and sunsests are to die for. The cleaning service who services this house does a FANTASTIC JOB. They supply everything you need for 2 people during a weekend stay. From towels to toiletries. MAKE SURE TO HAVE AWD. Very steep terain especially when wet. When it says secluded it means secluded. No city noise or even neighbors you could hear. Stars galore almost so clear you can see the milky way. Even during summer the hot tub was amazing in...

「The property was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only recommendation that I have is that it needs more cleaning products. For example, there was no soap for the bathroom sinks, only 1 packet for dishwasher detergent (hardly sufficient for a 3-night stay), and a very small bottle of dish detergent. 」

「The place is conveniently located close to town and grocery store. It’s on a cul-de-sac so it’s nice and peaceful and fun for the kids to go out and play in the lake They have kayaks and lifejackets and fishing poles which the kids thoroughly enjoyed and the owner has been very responsive with questions.」

「Wonderful house - very roomy, clean and well stocked throughout. View is incredible! Location is private but also convenient to hiking, shopping and restaurants. We had fabulous pizza from La Strada in Lake Lure. Melissa was a great host, very responsive. We would definitely stay there again」

「The landscaping around the property could use some attention, as the lake view was totally obstructed and 9pm is a little late and inconvenient to discover the tanks were empty in the gas grill and fire pit. Other than that ,the property was as advertised.」
