「This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend.」

「Very nice stay! We enjoyed the privacy of the cabin with proximity to Lake Lure. The cabin was perfect for our 3 generations: main floor BR for 89-yr old, plus 32-yr old w/ 2 dogs, and 68-yr old middle. Varying needs and all met! One cautionary comment, and the reason for my one 4 star rating (accuracy of listing) - the fenced dog yard is secure and big, but it's very steep (not apparent in the pic), both the yard itself and the access steps. 「The inside of the property was great. Was very disappointed that both decks and the front entryway had obviously not been cleaned for sometime. Cobwebs, dust, and leaves made all of these areas very unattractive. It’s logical to assume that spending time on your decks would be one of the reasons people would choose this condo, and they had not been cleaned for a long time.」

「The cabin is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the bedroom. The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. 「What a great property! Kitchen was very well appointed, which we greatly appreciated. We were travelling with a toddler, so the gated lower level deck worked perfectly for a huge “playpen”. 「Our stay was great! It was wonderful having access to all the amenities at rumbling bald. Sheila was an amazing communicator and her neighbors were so very helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioning went down when we were there, but they were on top of it! It was Sunday of memorial day weekend and they found someone to come out and fix it right away. It didn’t disrupt our stay at all cause we were out and about enjoying the area. Thank you for your hospitality and I would recommend this place...
