「Plenty of space and storage. Excellent view. Kitchen was adequately supplied for cooking basic meals. Lake Lure wasn't quite back to normal and some roads were still closed after the hurricane last year but this made a great home base to visit surrounding cities like Ashville, Black Mountain and Hendersonville. 」

「Thus hotel was a get away from all get aways. The staff treated you like family and the atmosphere felt like home. The room was immaculate, clean and cozy.」

「Clean modern spacious room, large walk in shower. Full breakfast with proteins including the waffle maker! Short drive or walkable (less tnan a mile) to eateries and shopping in town. About 15 minutes to Asheville」

「Bar/restaurant was closed for renovations but that was totally fine because so many awesome places to go that are walkable. Staff was so friendly and we felt well cared for. The fireplace and communal spots were a nice way to unwind and meet others that were traveling. 」

「Super comfortable with full kitchen, washer and dryer, fireplace, and access to the amazing Apple Valley Golf course. A wonderful stay and amazing golf at Apple Valley Golf course, and visiting Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Perfect place to stay.」

「The Cottage is beautiful and private, just what we needed. The entire property at Grafton is beautiful and welcoming. From the fire pit to the breakfast room. The owners are sweet and very friendly and the breakfast is superb! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.」

「Great location and amenities. Loved the cafe/bar and snacks and toiletries provided. Black Mountain was great for local shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the attic with 2 bedrooms and it was a beautiful big space. The only suggested improvement is more comfortable couch and mattress. Would definitely stay here again.」
