「This is probably the worst place we have ever stayed. The staff was unfriendly and reluctant to accommodate us. The AC ran the whole time and barely keep the room cool. The toilet did not flush unless you held the handle down for a minute or two. The shower was out of shampoo and they actually relaced that on our second day. We found bugs in our room both days we were there and I am not sure if they were bed bugs. Two lights by the bed went out after a breaker was tripped by just turning them...

「I stayed at the American Inn in Sedalia, Mo on August 22, 2026 to attend the Stare Fair evening Concert. I rented a room with two double beds for $255 per night. I have since discovered the room usually rents for $50 per night. The hotel was dirty, barely had room for two full size beds, stains on bedspreads thin dingy towels and washcloths… and had roaches crawling up the wall the next morning. I was definitely price gouged because of the Fair. I thought at the price I was paying having...

「Our room did Not have toilet tissue, I had to send my husband to the office to get a roll while I sat there. The room had a strong air freshener smell. The beds were not comfortable, old mattress.」

「The room didn’t have a phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot, or any kitchen essentials as it was advertised as a kitchenette. Not too mention no breakfast was served on the site. Also we had to leave a day early due to the storm and gave plenty of notice and the man at the front desk said there was nothing he could do. The price was outrageous for a bed!!!! Won’t be back! 」

「Loved the vault/closet in our studio! The zero entry shower was beautiful and will be fantastic for anyone needing somewhat handicapped accessible accommodation like my dad especially because there are no stairs to maneuver. Beautiful room, very clean and well stocked kitchen. We found this by accident and now we hope to stay there whenever we come to town. We also loved the Clue inspired names of the rooms!」
