「The room was spacious. The breakfast provided was very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. Everything was nice and clean. My only complaint was the plumbing. Our toilet kept filling up and the shower head was not so good.」

「A decent place for the price. Our groups rooms varied from very spacious to tiny. Rooms were clean with all needing some minor maintenance. Amenities varied by room from refrigerators to ice buckets. Small towns are a tough market for hotels but this one could use some updates. Overall, a decent place.」

「It was super quiet with horses grazing in the field right by our place. They even came over to be petted. Nice outdoor space. Cute rustic feel. It was handy to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, Custer and Hermosa. Beautiful area. 」

「This was a great little cabin in a beautiful area. The deer were great to see most mornings as we were watching the sunrise. We also saw wild turkeys. Very relaxing place to stay and close to other attractions.」

「The property is located in the country with horses coming to the fence to greet you. The cabin is decorated very nicely and fits very well with the country location. Everything we needed was provided in regards to kitchen items,dishes,towels, shampoo, conditioner,body wash... The location was ideal for our trip to Custer State Park and Keystone area.Everything was exceptional.」

「It took a couple days to adjust to the change in view from our favorite spot on the back porch, not to mention the sounds of construction on Christmas Eve as the monstrosity of a home being built against the mesa continued. Our favorite spot at the Getaway is now much different as the peaceful seclusion we once experienced is now property tainted by money. 」
