This location serves as the eastern gateway to the beautiful Black Hills! This beautiful 2-bedroom condo in Hermosa will be perfect for your escape! With a comfy queen bed in each bedroom, guests can relax in the cozy bedrooms. The living room offers additional space with a queen sofa bed. Heating and air conditioning ensure a comfortable stay, while amenities like a washing machine and dryer, WiFi, iron and hair dryer add convenience. This home has no stairs so it’s easy in, with wide door ways, stained concrete floors, and a 5' walkin shower! You can sit back and enjoy our marvelous condo. It's an easy seconds commute to SD Highway 79, it's10 miles to Custer State Park visitors center and the Buffalo Roundup, 10 minutes to Rapid City, and 15 miles east of Mt. Rushmore! This easy access will lead you to the highways that will also lead you to Crazy Horse Monument, Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak), the Badlands, Wind Cave National Park, Rushmore Cave, the Mammoth Site and healing waters in Hot Springs, many of our beautiful area lakes, like the beautiful Sylvan Lake, hiking trails or a day of shopping in Keystone, Hill City or Rapid City and much more. We are only 10 minutes to Rapid City! This recently built duplex unit is very clean, modern, cute and efficient with everything you will need for your stay! This quiet, yet "get in and out of quick and easy" location is in the Town of Hermosa with an out of town feel... when you walk out the door, the west facing patio will allow you to see the Black Hills and on a clear day, you can see Black Elk Peak, (formerly Harney Peak) which you can also get to from here! While sitting out on the patio, you can enjoy a beautiful South Dakota sunset! Another added feature of the home is in the winter months, you will enjoy the wonderful in floor heating system to keep your feet warm! Each bedroom and the Livingroom are individually zoned so the additional heating and/or cooling system allows you to keep the heat or cooling temperatures individually set to where each room is comfortable. After a long day of touring the Black Hills and attractions, you can wind down with a nice evening walk on the sideway through town just below after your busy day. Parking is a breeze, directly in front of the unit, no steps, easy entrance and so charming! You’ll love everything this home has to offer! We hope you’ll come stay with us soon!

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure to use the garbage can on the north (right side if you are looking at them)
Log out of tv apps, turn off tv, fireplace, coffee pot, hot water pot, stove/oven and lights. Turn off bedroom a/c remotes, set living room to 75 degrees. Winter, set all remotes to 68 degrees. Thx
Strip used sheets and pillow cases leave them on the bedroom floor. Place used towels on shower floor. Please text me when you leave 605-390-6193 so we can begin the cleaning process. Thank you!

Great Stay

This is one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. The place was clean, well-thought out, and had everything we needed. It is close to Custer and Keystone and an easy drive to the rest of the region. The Shorbs are great people and highly responsive. I highly recommend this VRBO. Don't forget to eat at Lintz Bros Pizza when in Hermosa!

Perfect!

Traveled to SD for the Bison Roundup at Custer State Park. This cute, clean duplex unit was perfect for us - close to the park. Very quiet, with easy access to the main road. SD is beautiful and we were able to explore it all from here.

Perfect location!

Loved this place conveniently located to many attractions. Beautiful scenery labels all over the house made everything very convenient to find and use. Lots of information from places to eat to many attractions to see. How to use step by step instructions for everything like heat and ac and the tv. Fantastic property. The location is centrally located and perfect for going to Mount Rushmore, crazy horse, Custer State Park, hot Springs, Rapid City, and not too far from Badlands or Devils Tower. The owner is thoughtful and keeps this well appointed with a nicely stocked kitchen (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, and many other niceties like sandwich bags, wrap, foil), nice toiletries, and laundry supplies. She isn't stingy w/supplies. This property is new and no expense was spared. It's super quiet despite being a duplex, epoxied concrete floors with radiant heat, nicely decorated with nice furnishings. Been 6 feet tall, it was really nice to have a spacious shower with a high mounted showerhead. Owner was super kind and made this stay a great one!

Black Hills Trip

The place was perfect. Bridget couldn’t be more helpful. It was very modern and comfortable. Everything was labeled and easy to find. There wasn’t anything you could want. I loved how she had to go coffee cups for me to take in the morning! We were close to everything. A hidden gem in the hills. We loved Devil’s Bathtub, renting ATVs, Custer, Needles Highway, and so much more. Our family made some great memories here!

So fun!

Property was as pictured/described on the website and clean. Lots of details considered- I appreciated little things like labels on the cabinets making stuff easier to find. It was a great spot for us to explore the Badlands Park and Rushmore area. Loved the little coffee shop in Hermosa too. And- close to a dollar general really helped since we traveled with kids for last minute supplies. Rules, check-in/out, and communication were all smooth and reasonable. Recommend!
