「The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fairly good. The front step leading up to entrance of the hotel is in need of repair as the concrete is severely chipping away and is a tripping hazard 」

「Checked in and asked about coffee in room and front desk person said not o. Room but coffee in breakfast room 24 hours. She knew I was disappointed. Got in our room and it smelled of cigarettes. So back down to front desk for different room. She said she’d give us a room on first floor that was just updated. Got to room and was disappointed. The bathroom was updated with a new vanity and a new toilet that was the lowest I had ever seen. It was approximately 20” from the floor and it was leaking...

「Breakfast was ok. Coffee was wonderful. Room was big with a nice king size bed and a comfy couch to sit on. Room was very quiet - we never heard any neighbors, but as it was graduation weekend, i think the hotel must have been pretty full so good insulation. Nice big bathroom with a good layout. There was a pool but we didn't use it.」

「My first room assignment had terrible chemical smell. 2nd room no soap or cups in bathroom. Lighting fixtures broken, only lukewarm water in am. Key card entry broken and junk from piled around outside from other tenants.」

「The property was great, centrally located in Newaygo. Our room had a rustic luxury feel to it that was charming and comfortable. Although we didn't do any fishing (just here for a night enroute to another location), the fact that the excursion is available through facility is very convenient. As we walked downtown everyone was welcoming and friendly! Gotta try the jerkey!」

「Fantastic host. We stayed in winter and they triple checked that we were warm enough. Great cute little place in a good location. 」

「We had the idea that electricity was available thru solar panels but it never charged or worked the whole time. Told the owner and he didn't do anything about it. Left our shower stuff in his shower and he wouldn't let us get it back from there. Got stuck in the drive the first day when he said it was cleared for ALL vehicles. 」

「It’s not a two bedroom. It only sleeps three. It’s more of a studio apartment with no doors. It is clean, nicely decorated and bright. The outdoor space is beautiful. 」

「Very welcoming host. We stayed overnight while bike packing the white pine trail. Warm comfortable place to stay. Very convenient location. Close to town for restaurant access. Enjoyed the peaceful river and a nice fire pit. Thank you for a great weekend stop! We will come again ! 」
