"Great location obviously sitting right on the rim. Good food and wide selection of drinks. Good service. Strange you don’t get a Wi-Fi voucher for each night stay as we ran out on final night of our 2 nights. Appreciate you can buy more access but really for a hotel of this standard you should get one voucher per night. Trip into canyon worth doing, whilst it’s a full day and on some bumpy roads, to be able to get to swim and lunch near the bottom was a special experience. "

"This is a very beautiful property, an actual castle, no 3! There were the most spectacular sunrises & sunsets, staff were wonderful. The only issue we had was there was no AC at night & the rooms were very hot & with animals nearby we didn’t feel safe opening windows (no screens)…. we couldn’t sleep either night we were there. "

"Nice stay in the desert a few kilometers away from the Sossusvlei national park entrance gate. The accommodation is clean but the external canvas over the small kitchen area is in need of replacement. Also be reminded that breakfast is not served at the quiver camp but rather at the main lodge a few kilometers away."

The rooms, location and food were all spectacular and the value for money was great, I found the quality to be better than other places we stayed that were double the price. "This property was decent and clean and very close to the dunes entry area. Our unit was a bit of a walk away from the parking area so that was a challenge. Also, there is no wifi in the rooms (really no wifi in all of the area). You had to go to the restaurant or bar area to get wifi and that was very frustrating. I could not even make phone calls from my room without a wifi connection. I think this information should be made known ahead of time so people can prepare for that situation."
