Stay at the “Heaven’s Gate” cottage. Amazing!!

This is a wonderful property and hotel. We stayed on top of the plateau in an incredible cottage called “Heaven’s Gate”. It is a bit of a trek to get to and from but worth every bit of the effort. Has a lovely wood fire heated spa, total seclusion, and incredible outlook. There is also a smaller restaurant on top of the plateau which we ate at each night. The hotel at ground level is also terrific.

Fabulous place. Run on solar power. Great room and balcony/outside space. Staff are all very helpful. Special shout out to Steph for helping us book activities before we arrived. Dinner at the Eagles Nest is a must. Views are worth the climb!

Must visit in Namibia

This was by far my favourite place we stayed in Namibia. The rooms, location and food were all spectacular and the value for money was great, I found the quality to be better than other places we stayed that were double the price. I would recommend people don't make the same mistake we made and stay more than 1 night! I would also recommend requesting to book dinner on top of the cliff on one occasion.

One of the most beautiful settings for a lodge we have ever experienced - like an African Monument Valley, with nothing around you outside of the lodge. Great views from the chalets, plenty of wildlife on the property (rock hyrax, birds including lovebirds). The walks on the property were very nice, especially the one taking you up to the lookout.We had dinner included which was great, so was the breakfast. The only negative was some of the staff - you could tell they were not happy to work there or had some other issues that we could feel as guests. Understandable, but not professional. This is not a general statement though, we also met one of the friendliest staff members during our trip here.

Lovely place and location. The staff is amazing. Food was great. Beautiful grounds and views all around. Nice walks and make sure you reserve the Eagle's Nest for dinner, amazing. They even washed our car.

Great staff. Upgraded our rooms to let our family spread out. Walk to eagles nest is worth it, but be careful of drinking too much because you have to walk down again after dark. Beautiful place with great hosts.

Es war mein zweier Aufenthalt in der Vingerklip Lodge und es war wieder toll. Ich mag die gesamte Anlage. Zwei kleine Pools, wie immer zu wenig Liegen, sonst aber sehr schön und mit toller Aussicht. Alle Angestellten waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Zimmer sauber und schön und inzwischen auch mit Klimaanlage. Das Essen war wirklich sehr sehr gut, ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen

Vingerklip lodge vaut le détour pour la beauté du paysage qui l’entoure ainsi que pour le lodge lui même. Les montagnes et rochers sont impressionnants. À ne pas manquer, l’ascension du rocher pour voir le coucher de soleil et dîner tout en haut.
