「Great staff! Very helpful and welcoming! Only issue we had was that our room smelled like smoke even though it’s a smoke free hotel. We had our kiddos and the smell wasn’t the greatest for them. We didn’t change rooms due to the hotel being booked.」

「This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs...

The owners are delightful and were helpful with restaurant recommendations and advice on seeing the Wheeler Geological Area. Parking is free but not real close to the entrance, so you might have to do a bit of walking (about a block) to get from your car to your room.
