「Lisa and Jason were the best hosts! They were so accommodating to everything, even letting us use their EV car charger! They showed us around the property, introducing us to all their animals and letting us feed them. Jason is very knowledgeable and had lots of stories to share on the history of the ranch. The steaks they sell from their farm were incredible! 10/10 recommendation. Will definitely come back!」

「The River Front Get Away (locally known as the Bait Shop) was a perfect location for our family! Ted was the hostess with the mostest! From cornhole, firepit, water features, to bubbles for the babies. Our clan will be back for future gatherings and reunions! 」

「Location is in a bad part of town. The bed is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on, we were barely able to get sleep due to the cars riding though the neighborhood with loud bass and doing burnouts too.」

The relaxation was almost instant when arriving and the cabin had all we needed, including a comfy bed and soft towels. My husband enjoyed grilling outside both evenings and I’m definitely coming back for some more pool time. Best part? Flora and fauna galore!! Honored to learn more of the history of the land - thank you for sharing The Nest.」

「The cabin was perfect for our trip. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for cooking/grilling and the hosts were very responsive. Would definitely stay here again! And would recommend eating at The Bistro at Fiesta Winery and the Pecan House Grill in San Saba.」
